Almost Summer

Summer is here and we are just beginning to get busy! I am starting a blog so i can keep family and friends updated with our life and the Teeters Family.

Its May 18th and 3 days left of school. Our days are full of boys, baseball and football! Soon my house will be full of summer kids that i baby sit or the boy's friends that have made this their second home. That usually consists of, water balloons, mud on the carpet,Popsicles, wet towels and little voices saying "I'm bored...whats there to do?"

About a month ago we started Little League season for Gabe and JR. Ever Since then we have been non-stop. Jr is in minors. His daddy coaches his team...they are called the "REDSOCKS" They started out with a good season, but lately seems they have been loosing, and usually by 1 point which is very frustrating to the kids. But coach Chilly has to keep reminding them that they are there to play and have fun! They are learning by their mistakes and learning that you cant always win...and of course they are there to have fun! Jr is taking a crack at pitching for the first time. He does really well for a first time pitcher. Glad dad(coach) is giving him a chance this year. Last week at a game, Jr smacked the ball right out to center field!! Mama swears he could have made that one a home run. Mom screaming ruuunnn, baby ruuuunnn didn't seem to help much since he runs like hes carrying a locomotive behind him! But he did make it to 2nd base..and i was just as proud. Gabe is in Majors. His team is called the "Rangers". He plays right field..and smacked the ball a few times too. we are always proud whether its a little hit or a big one.Unfortunately the Rangers haven't won many games so far. They are trying real hard though. Majors have late games..after the minors games, so we sometimes don't leave the ball field until 10 at night. And it makes it more interesting when we have double header games. Jr's then Gabe's. Over all, we love baseball season! I love hearing the kids excited and rooting for their teams, seeing all the people involved with their kids, horns honking for home runs or a well played out! The smell of nachos and popcorn and best of all...an excuse to go to Dairy Queen when they win :)
